Silfra Cold-Water Readiness Checklist

This Silfra cold-water readiness checklist starts with Open Water or equivalent, plus a drysuit certification or documented recent drysuit dives with written proof, depending on the operator. Water is about 2 to 4 °C all year.

Check the operator’s requirements for:

• Open Water certification or equivalent.
• Drysuit certification or documented recent drysuit dives with written proof.
• A physician form, which may be requested.

Snorkeling has no certification requirement.
