Summary
My Dive Locker is a credential vault for divers. We treat your certifications, medical waivers, insurance, and dive logs as private personal data. Credential images and sensitive vault entries are encrypted client-side before they leave your device.
Data we collect
- Account data: email, name, profile photo, authentication provider.
- Credential data you upload: certification cards, insurance, medical forms, waivers, dive logs.
- Usage data: page views, device type, and error reports used to improve reliability.
How we use it
- To render your vault, Dive Pass, and dive history inside the app.
- To share credentials with dive operators you explicitly send them to.
- To send transactional email (e.g. Dive Pass delivery, renewal reminders).
Sharing
We never sell your data. Credentials are only shared with the dive operators you select. Wallet passes (Apple Wallet / Google Wallet) are issued through Apple and Google, who act as processors for the pass payload.
Encryption & storage
Vault content is encrypted at rest. Credential images use AES-256 client-side encryption before upload. Backups and database snapshots are encrypted in transit and at rest by our hosting provider.
Your rights
You can export or delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account, or by emailing HQ@mydivelocker.com.
